When we’re in tatters like this there’s no plan to chase, we’d fold.

Our guys really haven't heard of foot movement have they. Basic things not being taught or learnt.

Tiripano looks like he can hold a bat and if taught properly could develop in to a very good lower order pinch hitter.

I'm very curious what a zcf coaching team could do with these guys. So many things being picked up that don't seem to be by the professionals

What ZCF coaching team?
If you’re coaching technique to international players there’s something very wrong. Tweaking yes, having to give them a technique just shows the mess we’re in.

There's a lot of expertise here though, on the forum. I've noticed it

It's not so much about coaching a technique as opposed to tweaking. Small little things as well sometimes can change a player big time. You see it all the time with all the big teams. How players change one little thing and in some cases, I have seen players change their whole technique even in their 30's to great reward.

Whilst we’re talking about that- Tari’s back and across is ridiculous. It’s extreme, and it’s so early it’s not really a trigger.

Moor can't just toss his wicket off here, he needs to see out these next 5 overs.

Stunning straight 6 as I type!! FFS! He has so much natural six hitting ability why's he being a fanny and poking at it? That was a shot of real class  Keep it up PJ

Not sure what PJ is trying to achieve with this innings, he may finish 70 not out but a real lack of urgency in the middle overs which stalled any progress towards a challenging total.

Worried we are going back to the Kevin Curran era of batting the fifty overs as the target instead of trying to win the match.

Thinking very similar.
There was no urgency in the middle overs but this is the best ODI attack in the world, some credit is required here for Pakistan. Shadab is the only one who has struggled today and I think we've capitalised well on him, but the seamers have been exemplary.
