your full strength zim side

Post by brendantaylor_fan »

say all the players on the outer returned what would your 11 be . here is mine

bat
1.H.Masakdaza
2.T.Taibu (W)
3.S.Williams
4.S.Ervine
5.B.Taylor
6.C.Ervine
7.E.Chigumbura
8.A.Blignaut
9.G.Cremer
10.R.Price (c)
11.A.Ireland

BOWL
1.A.Ireland
2.E.Chigumbura
3.S.Ervine
4.R.Price
5.G.Cremer
6.A.Blignaut

THis line up is much balanced and has great batting depth with Bligz coming in at number 8. There is much promise with the bowl with Ireland returning and the spin of senior price and the young gun Cremer. The middle order looks stable and safe with much pressure of Taylor with the return of sean ervine and sean williams.I feel utesya has to go , yes he keeps it tidy and tight but he does not take enough wickets, he should be left in the t20 team but about time we made a move on and allowed cremer and price to shine.Chigumbura has now taken the nxt step and is a genuine star and one of the most improved players in the world with being able to belt any attack around the park or pick up quick wickets bowling at good pace. I think this team could definatley challenge any countryy and day of the week.

Ah yes, good topic mate. Well my full streangth side would be the following:

1. H. Mazakadza
2. B. Taylor
3. S. Williams
4. S. Ervine
5. Sean Ervine
6. E. Chigumbura
7. T. Taibu
8. A. Blignaut
9. G. Cremer
10. R. Price
11. K. Jarvis

12th man (Anthony Ireland)

So my team doesnt differ all that much from yours BRM, but i like the idea of having Jarvis in as he's more of a strike bowler than Ireland.

Sorry, Craig Ervine to bat at 5. Just realised my mistake. And Price would take the captaincy.
