Top 5 Performers at the halfway stage. Interesting that none of them are playing for a franchise at the moment.

1.Brighton Zhawi 14 wickets and 38 runs
2. Brandon Diplock 10 wickets and 166 runs (average 55)
3. Brian Mudzinginyama 11 wickets and 167 runs
4. Artwell Nyambanje 11 wickets and 81 runs
5. Kuda Munyede 13 wickets and 75 runs

Zhawi tearing it up. Dipaz needs a shot at the Eagles without a doubt.

If we are so desperate for a left arm pacer in place of Vitori that we keep trying a heavily under-cooked and non-improving Ngarava at every possible opportunity, then why not convince the journalist Brighton Zhawi to consider cricket as a full time career option? He has always turned in good performances whenever he has played.

BTW, whatever happened to LTGM?

Why should he wait for a call up there if they are unwilling for so many seasons? Should he not explore options at the other 3 franchises if he is serious about a career in cricket? Does he also have a job / business like Zhawi that forces him to stay at Harare?

Someone took a dislike to him personally and that’s the only reason. It happens in family run businesses.

If this Diplock fella is serious about making a go of it why not change franchises? Surely he’d crack the Tuskers’ side with their bowling lineup of Mboyi, Chimhamhiwa, Masuku & Mpofu
