I remember years ago Zimbabwe sending a side to India to play in some domestic tournament, so sending an academy side there isn’t too far fetched.

As for today’s performance well at least Hamilton is inform, shame about the rest, hopefully they’ve all got their bad performance out of the way.

That's why Zimbabwe need's a warm up game before starting a tour

How long ago? We used to send squads away often back in our hayday, now don't really have the means.

RS in England was mainly due to Taibu being able to get the teams to play, have accommodation and everything else taken care off through his connections and the findings he raised himself. Leaving it all to ZC is not an option.

Looks like this game has thrown up more questions than answer

Will Ervine open?

If not him who?

Should Tari play despite three 🦆 🦆 🦆 in a row ?

Does Elton play?

Do we revert to the 8-3?

Do we play two spinners?

Do we play three seamers?

Where does Mire bat?

Does Mire even make the XI?

Will be interesting to see what they come up with?

Will Ervine open? Yes he should open

If not him who? If he fails in 2 game bench him for PJ Moor for the final game

Should Tari play despite three 🦆 🦆 🦆 in a row ?
Tari should be benched & only play the last game

Does Elton play? Yes his final tour of duty...after the performing in the warm up he gets the nod..

Do we revert to the 8-3?..Yes with Raza & Sean Williams we can do it.... Mavuta, Chatara & Jarvis but I would prefer 7 - 4 with Tiripano as the 3rd seamer

Do we play two spinners?
No

Do we play three seamers?
Yes
Where does Mire bat?
Bench Mire if he can't bowl.... the competition should be between Mire & Chigumbura for the 6th spot in the batting order...Mire opening has been a failure..
Does Mire even make the XI? No

Will be interesting to see what they come up with?

Apart from Hami, it's pretty depressing. Does that 47 give Elton a few more games?

In all fairness Chigumbura should play ahead of Craig Ervine and Mire ...Tari has 3 ducks in a row ...
I rest my point...
Mire has to be a all rounder bowling & batting to included in the squad and batting 6th or 7th, enough is enough with Mire opening...
Tari, PJ Moor & Ervine should open or sit on the bench
