I see many topics about who should return to the team, so I decided to compile a list of players who I think we should move on from and not select anymore, baring some remarkable domestic form.
Stuart Matsikenyeri (a consistent failure at international level)
Mark Vermeulen (same as Matsikenyeri, a few good innings but not enough, also failed to step up after the rebel exodus)
Chamu Chibhabha (plays well domestically but his form has never translated to the national team)
Vusi Sibanda (perhaps one of the more talented players, but has never lived up to his potential)
Dion Ebrahim (was a quota selection at first, and then after the rebel exodus failed to grab his opportunity)
I am sure people will want to add or subtract players from this list so what are your thoughts?

Vusimuzi Sibanda is a one for the long version of the game. We will surely need him if we get our Test status back.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Our great stuart matsikanyeri who has been underperforming inspite of giving so many opportunities

With Zimbabwe's lack of depth and quality in recent years they have been forced to play players who were not ready for international cricket. Chibhabha is one such guy and that is why i would not discount him just yet, simply for the fact that he is young enough to still make an impact.

Chibahba has a solid technique, but he just needs to play a bit more domestic cricket before he becomes a full time international cricketer. Guys like Craig Ervine and Sean Williams should be in before him at the moment

Agree with you. Lamby never impressed me, be it ODI or T20. I hope he proves me wrong but i really doubt his batting talent.kingviv wrote:greg lamb yes he played county but no pliz he is just going down stuarts way

I think he can bat. Give him a chance man, we gave Matskinyeri enough chances and he did okay.Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:Agree with you. Lamby never impressed me, be it ODI or T20.
