In our great forum tradition - who are we going to throw our support behind?

Luke OldKnow UK,
is that really his surname? Oh my beautiful Zimbabwe, you never cease to amaze.

The key thing is the pathway for these players from this level to the next.

Was also just going through our previous Under 19 tournaments. Everything before 2004 was quite promising and exciting. After 2004, the Under 19 teams just seemed to have gone up shit creek. Finishes of 13, 15, 11 at various times. Take this in to account from the fact we were Plate winners one year, and also pushing a lot of the big teams quite often in years before that. Makes for some interesting reading to note and see how this has turned out for us, but it is also a damning indictement, because if we don't change quickly, we may not exist for much longer.

Meanwhile ZC has organised games against NIGERIA to do some fine tuning. Yes Nigeria. :(

"Do we really matter?", someone asked. Well here's the answer.

Do Nigeria even have 11 cricketers?

Young Luke already caught this forums attention with his attitude back in 2016: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11563&hilit=oldknow ... 140#p92960 -- his identity is revealed a few posts further down.

Good question.

This is beyond embarrassing from ZC. A game with a South African provincial side couldn't have been organised? Cricket in Zimbabwe is going into oblivion at this rate.

Nigeria U19 team wanted some practice before their qualifiers appearance and ZC obliged - and Nigeria are thankful for that. I don't think we need to look at this from the "Oh we are now only good enough to play Nigeria" angle...
