Re: Lineup for the 2nd Test
Given the debate about Chari, should Burl open or play in the middle order, etc, etc. How about opening the batting with Raza?
Re: Lineup for the 2nd Test
Raza has opened the batting before but I dont think he is in form right now with the bat. I would stick Regis up there since he has done it before. He should put his hand up again. Unfortunately for Wellington we have one too many spinners in my opinion. I would also switch PJ with Raza because Raza is not batting well and has more responsibility with the ball whilst PJ ran out of partners in the first innings

They are going to make sure we play on a much worse wicket than the last game. We need to reinforce the batting.

Re: Lineup for the 2nd Test
I think it takes more than 4-5 days to change the nature of a wicket completely. I think a turning wicket exposed the Bangladesh lineup, especially when Mushfiq and Mominul are out of form, and Tamim and Shakib are absent. It leaves a team with no capable batsmen.
We should have gone with a dead track for both games. Leave the turners for matches against AUS, ENG, SA, NZ, WI only. The curators fucked up.

4) Taylor
5) Williams
6) Raza
7) Moor
8) Chakabva
9) Mavuta

Re: Lineup for the 2nd Test
I think Ryan Burl should definitely play ahead of Wellington. Rightly said above, Zim are playing one bowler too many because Raza and Sean are doing a fantastic job.
Agreed Wellington batted well in the 2nd innings but that is not his role, I also think Bangladesh will prepare a dusty track which will take sharp turn, so you won't need too many bowlers as wickets will fall anyways, but an extra batsman can be a good option to get those few extra runs.

Re: Lineup for the 2nd Test
The other factor to consider is possibly the coach doesn’t want the risk of Williams and Raza having to bowl 60 overs in the match? Surely bowling that many overs will effect their batting?

Chari deserved to be dropped. W Masakadza should play, he has done well with 2 wickets and has the ability to hang around.
