What a disappointment from Mominul. A not out 50 would have pushed his average back up to 45.

It is a solid theoryKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:43 amMy real flat wicket theory is more general. It goes something like this:TapsC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:21 am
Wanted to ask you more about your flat wicket theory Kriterion. You said that the difference between Taijul amd Raza can be seen on a flat pitch. So using your theory can we also say that the difference between Jarvis and the Fizz was also seen on a flat wicket? You can also hear the Bangladeshi commentators constantly referring to Jarvis when they are talking about how fast bowlers should be bowling there, not the Fizz
On a flat wicket, BD can pile up 400+ and then just wait for Zimbabwean batsmen to get out. You can buy time with runs scored. See Khulna and Chittagong Tests 2014 and this Test (in the likely event Bangladesh wins). Zimbabwe will only get 300-350 on a flat wicket, so obvious advantage to Bangladesh on a flat pitch. Provided there is no rain.
On a sporting wicket or turner Dhaka 2014, Sylhet Test...Zimbabwe gets more chances to compete especially if BD loses the toss. 250 can be a par score batting first.

Ok I get it nowKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 4:01 amThat over is a good illustration of what I was saying Taps.
The Imrul wicket, short and wide ball...but the Liton wicket was a top class delivery. Fizz was bowling to ZIM batsmen who were smart and picking the half volley's to hit.

Seeing Bangladesh batting against Pace its getting cleared Windies going to shoot them in the upcomming test series. Attack of Roach, Gabriel, Holder and the new sensational Oshane Thomas who hardly bowl less then 142 kph. will trouble Bangladesh
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka
Regardless of the result of this series, Kyle Jarvis has really come of age. He has looked world class on wickets that aren't exactly greentops.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Jarvis is a terrific quick. Has improved in white ball cricket too.

Not on our pitches. Guys like Dale Steyn haven't gotten bagfuls of wickets.Black Mamba wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 4:07 amSeeing Bangladesh batting against Pace its getting cleared Windies going to shoot them in the upcomming test series. Sylhet and this Mirpur pitch weren't typical BD conditions.
