Excellent start from Zimbabwe although keeping Chari is just mind boggling. It may come back to haunt us
I've always liked Chari. He has a pretty tight technique. But Burl and Ervine are both far more deserving of the spot.

I think Chari is being used in the Mawoyo role to just see of the new ball. Problem is he throws his wicket away. If he just puts that stuff out of his mind...he will really frustrate the BD bowlers.

Well he'd be worth something if he managed 20 off 100

What a fantastic start for Zim, two more wickets here and this test is ours. I know it’s early but Bangladesh look very fragile.
I would have prepared a turner if I were a Bangladeshi. I don’t agree with your thought process on that, Kriterion.
Burl has to be bitterly disappointed. Surely ZC need to be looking at bringing on a new batsman????
He has to be looking at his options around about now.
Has he offered to open? Thats what I want to know because it just doesnt make sense. That is the only way into the team in all formats I think. I want to see where he bats this domestic season

BD have much better seam in this game. I struggled to see how they didn't play Fizz last game.

Ya I don’t know Taps. Good point though. The opening slot is the only one available.
