Zimbabwe Domestic Cricket begins with four day logan cup tournament but whats disappointing to see is the youth promising allrounders who made their names through Under 19s and ZRS are batting at lower order and as a tailander.
Allrounders are regarded as an asset of the modern day cricket and domestic cricket is the best platform to give youths talented alrounders some sort of exposure.
Genuine Allrounders like Tony Munyonga, Faraz Akram, Luke Jongwe, William Mashinge should bat within number 4 to 6 instead their talents are getting hampered at lower down the order.
Why upcomming promising allrounders are batting at lower order in domestic cricket ?

Isnt it easier to bat in the lower order in first class cricket? Well. Thats what I think.
They are struggling too. If they were scoring big runs then I would push them up the order.

They can't score big at lower order as they have to bat with the tail, batting higher up will provide them opportunity to bat freely as proper batsman will be at the other end.

Chamu Chibhabha, the failure continue to get hit at the top. Failures should be benched or bat at the lower order

Donald Tiripano taking the advantage of his power being captain and batting at 7, whereas talented William Mashinge is warming the bench to bat as a tailander.
Tiripano is overrated, not suitable as allrounder at international level, failed with the bat in recent test series against Bangladesh, similar to Malcolm Waller who takes opportunity of domestic cricket and make again and aagain come back at the international cricket.

T Munyonga, has been given the role of a finisher, and so far he is looking good.
Jongwe again not used properly, he is more talented then Chibhabha
