I can see what they’re thinking regarding Tari and him opening but I don’t like it, there’s obviously a spot for him in all formats as an opener and they probably think because he’s a great stroke maker he would be well suited to opening, which sounds ok theory.

But I’d like to see him brought in at No.6 and hopefully after a good platform is laid, at this point I think a move up the order will put too much pressure on him play shots, and his biggest issue in his game so far is playing too many big shots early in his innings and playing a lot of those shots are in the air.

Credit to him though, he’s having a crack and putting himself up the order when he could easily come in at 4 or 5.

I really believe PJ has gone to a new level . All down to hard work and self belief , I really want him to start constructing his odi innings like we know he can and be pushed up the order a bit . Great to see the form of musakanda , really promising . Awesome seeing Cremers name back on the park , we are only going to be a better team with him in it . God I wish we had some international cricket soon haha.
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Really sad state to be in :(.

We could call up Nepal and say that we want to be the first full member to tour them. They should be more than happy to host us for an ODI series?

If we paid for it, sure. Nepal like most associates aren’t exactly flush with money. Even then, ZC would have expenses like match payments etc?

Common issue with all Associates you would think, not sure about UAE though? surely they'd get a fair bit of government funding?

I hope to see the USA gain ODI status I'm sure they'd be ok for government funding and also they'd be able to market their side. It is nice to see nations like Nepal and PNG get ODI status but really what's the point if they can't afford to use it?
