Wow! How will he get any game time now?

And where is Hamilton Masakadza? Hasn't turned out at all this season so far?
Hammy picked up an ankle injury in Bangladesh and I am told he is still struggling quite badly with it.
Thanks for the update John, do you know if Hamilton needs surgery??

Also do you know anything about Burl's situation ??
I don't think Hamilton actually needs surgery; I'll try to find out about Burl when I can.

Board elections
In that case can't see why anyone is holding their breath. It will be more of the same old same old.

ZC are already missing out on WC revenue, but thats probably only 3-4 million USD - over a 4 year span. The main money comes from ICC full membership, and thats probably around 50 million USD over a 4 year cycle. That is safe regardless of WC qualification or not, and that is why the thieves still profit from ZC. Also inbound tours from India and Australia are probably the only series that bring net profits for ZC.

The only solution is if the ICC were to completely suspend ZC. No more money, and no more tours from India/Australia. The thieves would clear the building within 10 minutes if that were to happen.

In the absence of that, we will continue to see player strikes every 6-12 months, domestic fixtures being cancelled, player defections to other countries, etc.

Thats assuming, ZIM political situation doesn't collapse into either a civil war or complete economic crash.

The ICC seems to be happy enough with the board and their plan to get the debt sorted, hard to believe a change of board will actually be a good thing at this point

Credit to Brian Chari with 50’s in both innings on what were terrible batting conditions

He has been a positive of late , hopefully he can grow as a player and be the gritty opener who bats time we so
Badly need .
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Sadly for a Zimbabwean Test specialist there aren’t many opportunities ☹️
