Post by Mueddie28 »

The Africa Cup might help Zimbabwe but if South Africa could incorporate Zimbabwe in the 3 or 4 day tournaments in South Africa that would help..

Zimbabwe really could use the help from their neighbours, more tours, A tours and yes a side in their first class tournament would be really important, even in the 3 Day provincial competition Zimbabwe could send their academy side (if they ever get one again) to help fast track youngsters

As good an idea as it is, it won’t happen. It’s our cheapest and best option, but it costs money that they’re not prepared to spend for the good of our cricket.

The Zimbabwe national team should just play in the domestic circuit in South Africa, much like the NZ Warriors, NZ Breakers, or Wellington Phoenix play in the respective Australian leagues.
