[ODI 4] Zimbabwe v UAE

Post by CrimsonAvenger »

Are we going to whitewash them or get complacent and lose one? What would be the XI that takes the field? Let's see...

The weather doesn't look good at this point

Hoping to see Burl & Maruma get a decent bat today

Hopefully Zimbabwe bat first

We’re complaining because it’s not shown on television and ZC aren’t actually prepared to pay for a live stream!
Does anyone know how much that costs? All the County games and even a few club games are live streamed these days, it must be peanuts surely??

For the first time in the series, captain winning the toss has elected to bat first.

Technical costs are minimal, assuming the broadcast kit is already on-site and HSC has an appropriate net connection. Their main costs'll be for the staff needed to run it and provide commentary. Going to assume they don't get paid if the sponsor hasn't paid up, and aren't willing to work for free - which to be honest I'm perfectly fine with.

The fact it is 2019 and you can’t even stream a international cricket match is a disgrace and a brutal shame .. zim cricket should be ashamed of themselves .was really looking forward to watching this after getting home, I read a comment previously about county games being streamed / some club games even being streamed and saying it costs peanuts . That would be 100
Percent correct , the people running the game are a bunch of fucking cowboys and constantly let the players the nation and us fans down . Sort your shit because you are destroying the life of cricket . Anyway best of luck to the lads and hope we whitewash these guys and get a little taste of revenge .
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Hopefully today, Ryan Burl gets a shot to bat. He's a supremely talented player and if things go his way and he takes his chances he can be Zimbabwe cricket's face for the next ten years.
