Looks like the women might be following in the mens footsteps, win all their games in the group and make it all the way to last game, to slip up at the last hurdle.

Going to need to be very tight with the ball

Our girls should win this. RRR is over 14 with less than 5 overs to go.

Sharne again top-scored today, together with Mrs. Tiripano :D

So our girls absolutely demolished the group! Hopefully they can improve enough to make the T20 WC.

I spoke too soon, or I overestimated Namibia.

Well done girls. Obviously the level of competition will be a little higher up in Scotland, but they have shown some really good signs. Hopefully they get all the backing needed to make the WC.

A good comeback after the shock loss to Uganda in the last edition of the regional qualifiers.

In the qualifiers proper hosts Scotland, PNG and (in all probability) the Netherlands are waiting, teams which are about the same strength as our Ladies. But the real test will again be provided by Ireland and BD who are a cut above everybody else at this tournament.

If you thought there were some mismatches in that tournament, take a look at the current show in Rwanda where Mali's women appear to be slightly out of their depth, setting two world records (lowest total and highest total conceded):
