The Curran Family

Post by Mueddie28 »

ESPNcricinfo staff
Ben Curran, the brother of England cricketers Sam and Tom, has signed with Northamptonshire, the club of their late father, Kevin, for the remainder of the season.

Ben, 22, a left-handed batsman, made his Northamptonshire debut in the T20 Blast against Derbyshire last week after a successful period in the 2nd XI where he scored 490 runs in six Championship matches having caught the club's eye while playing against them for MCC Young Cricketers.

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

What value is Tom Curran bringing in for England in any format?

They have so many good bowlers that the likes of Ollie Stone are not getting a game. I don't see Tom Curran lasting for long in England's national team in any format.

Will he ever consider a future with Zimbabwe?

Yes, money is the key, if Zimbabwe can play more often and there is enough for players to earn then surely they can retain a lot of talent.

Atm, Playing country cricket earns these players far more than playing for Zimbabwe.

There has actually been more than a few quotes out there that dispute that.

Taylor and Jarvis for example have always said ZC pays more.

the lowest players though will def get more in england

Yeah I think you guys are a bit deluded, no offense, and I find it sad as well, but I have talked to some of these guys and they have moved on.
