Don’t want to jinx PJ but he looks in good touch. I reckon they need 250 plus on this deck, and need to bowl really well.

To me they all look a bit chunky. Perhaps it's the cameras

Is it just me or does Burl love playing with a cross bat? Needs to change that for me as it does not look controlled and it's a bad choice.

He should learn from Craig about the straight shot. And like that, Craig is gone.

Haven't been able to watch the match, been at work, only seen from over 40 onwards. Not sure about the other guys and how they batted, but does not look too good overall.

I haven’t seen Burl play for a long time. He clearly doesn’t like it short and as the commentator said, it all looked a bit agricultural. I’ve been blowing his trumpet for a while now and now I’m not so sure. I’d like to see him have to play a longer innings. With the exception of Williams, Taylor and Ervine our guys struggle to work the singles. Well they’ve got something to bowl at and we will finally see Jarvis bowling in conditions that he’s familiar with and what he’s done well in. Without even seeing these Irish boys I’d think this is tipped towards Ireland. With the exception of Ervine that was club standard. Unless you play every every week that’s what it’s going to look like. That left me with a feeling of unease, hope no one from ICC was watching that

Only an Irishman would be squeezing sweat out of his helmet in the 6th over when it’s 15 degrees. Zimbabweans can’t even function until it’s 30 Celsius.
