I think the future for Mire is as a lower order finisher and part time seamer, he’s not good enough to be an out & our opening batsman who doesn’t bowl. His bowling has some potential
Once again I like your thinking! And mire gets another right on q :W:

I know we’re not spoilt for choice but bits and bobs cricketers aren’t going to help. You have to be really strong at one discipline. He should have one last shot down the order, but it will be 2021 before he gets enough games for us to see how he goes there. His time up front is pretty much done in an ideal world.

That’s strange bounce. Ball not coming on at all. Not going to be easy batting on this.

How about it. Maehara bringing in some good fortune. You should have turned up a lot earlier. Lazy shots from the Irish lads there but welcome wickets nonetheless.

It’s a funny game sometimes, Jarvis has bowled really well and beat the bat a number of times, gets no wickets

Mire bowls a few pies and gets three for 😂😂😂

To be fair he has bowled better the longer his spell has gone, the remaining 5 balls after his last wicket were really good.

If he can be a 6 over per match bowler who can slog a few big ones at the end of an innings, I reckon he’d be a handy member of the side.
