Zim in SA Itinerary (October 2010)

Code: Select all

8 October 2010 1st T20 International OUTsurance Oval, Bloemfontein
10 October 2010 2nd T20 International De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley
15 October 2010 1st ODI OUTsurance Oval, Bloemfontein
17 October 2010 2nd ODI Senwes Park, Potchefstroom
22 October 2010 3rd ODI Willowmoore Park, Benoni
I assume the one-off Test will be around October 2011. The first T20 coincides with the Intercontinental Cup match against Ireland, which is also expected to be played in South Africa, but since the two teams should be separate this isn't likely to present a problem.

Domestic schedule hasn't been released yet - knowing ZC we'll get it about 2 weeks before the first matches - but usually September.

I think it vitally important that we don't get overawed by SA in October. Many people make judgements (presumably without watching the matches) about our team, cricket and country based on results such as this. So no pressure then
