Travis Friend

Post by Zimfanatic69 »

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Travis Friend ? Couldhe come back. He was the best.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

He was far from the best mate. Infact he was probably more eratik than Blignaut from 2001-04. He had some pace though, that was undeniable. I saw him clock up to 88mph in Australia in 2003/04. It'd be great if he did come back and play for a franchise, though I doupt it.

Travis Friend was a good player on his day - but he was too unpredictable. He could bowl some pretty fast thunderbolts, similar to Gus Mackay.
