Whats are your views on Hick? Do you think if he played for Zimbabwe he would of been able to get a better test record?

Do you lot hate him? I would love to know

Imagine a batting order of ...

Neil Johnson,
Grant Flower
Murray Goodwin
Andy Flower
Graeme Hick

:o :o

Graeme Hick was always one my favourite players. I don't think we can hold anything against him for leaving Zimbabwe. At the time it porbably seemed like the best way to pursue cricket at it's highest form. If Zimbabwe wasn't granted Test status in the early 90s most of our players probably would have left for the UK. Andy Flower would have been a good addition to the England middle order.

I used to love watching Hick bat. He had unbelievable power and a solid technique. Shame he never made it for Zimbabwe, would have been a great player had he done so

Wow I didn't know that Dale was also Zim origin. Bloody hell, that batting line up would be awesome. And imagine if they didn't play in the 1990s when the world had great bowlers of Wasim and Waqar, McGrath and Warne, Ambrose and Walsh, Pollock and Donald!!!! :o :o

Outstanding haha :W: :W:

i do not hate him. i do not blame him but he never really did well for england. he was always overshadowed. perhaps had he played for zim he would have been a star and risen above the mediocre. in county cricket he was devastating but a bit of a flat track bully.

He went through a stage where he was one of England's most consistent batters

Chill ! They were far from "shit", at the time thye were probably playing better cricket than the Aussies, the Indians and the South Africans.
