REST IN PEACE PETER CHINGOKA

Post by zimlover » Thu Aug 22, 2019 12:14 pm

Probably one of the most hated man on the forum, may be one of the most controversial man to have been at the top Job of Zimbabwean Cricket Chairman.Presiding over a very tough period, was strongly rebuked during most if not all of his tenure at the top job.

He died?
Achieved a lot, did some terrible things but some good things too.
A sobering reminder of Zimbabwe’s short life expectancy (61).

He felt his cause so just that he should richly reward himself. I will read his epitaphs over the next couple of days with bemusement.

Somebody has clearly been affected by this.

Contrary to popular belief Chingoka did love cricket and he did play a bit in the 70s. His family are sports lovers. Its almost how people on this forum took a while to realize Mangongo had issues but he was actually obsessed with cricket.

Maybe thats the difference now and then. I dont know if the current guys actually love cricket. You might be in it for the wrong reasons but at least love the game. Sport must not be treated like that 9-5 you hate

Ive been wondering lately what Mangongo is upto nowadays, he seemed to walk away cold turkey after the issues of 2018. The internet doesnt tell much.

The new admins biggest crime is the complete disregard for the game, TapsC is right I think.
Lack of effort and care and disinterest is as bad as the stealing. Maybe worse.

Saving money by not playing games is as logical about boasting youve never had a car accident, because you never bothered to learn to drive.
