Future of Zimbabwe Cricket is to be decided just after few weeks by ICC. Zimbabwe Cricket has to give valid proof on "no government interference" on board and cricket administration by october 8th to keep their membership intact.
Zimbabwe got suspended on July 2019, and within one month in August there has been quick resolution between SRC and the board, which was more like forced solution by politics then real remedial measure.ZC is now fully under the scanner of ICC and on 12th october meeting verdict could be harsh if things doesnt meet whats required.
As per cricket is concerned, Zimbabwe suffered a huge blow for not getting chance to play ICC T20 qualifiers which is going to start this October, the roadway of entering the T20 2020 World Cup, scheduled in Australia. Big question lies here, will ZC make high level investigation on the culprits responsible for making government intereference in the board despite knowing the rules of ICC as a confirmed team not getting chance to play in major ICC tournament on political grounds is a huge setback.

Re: Culprits responsible for suspension of Zimbabwe Cricket by ICC should be punished
What I’m wondering is whether our current recent results will affect the ICC’s decision on our reinstatement?
Was the October date set just because that’s when ICC reconvene or did they give us a period to make certain changes that we’re not aware of?
Has ZC implemented the changes agreed upon with SRC?
I do think that SRC are probably just going to walk away from this, which will be a big relief for ZC, but
the fact remains is that these guys still have a say if they choose to.
One would think our reinstatement is inevitable because its possible that ICC somehow benefit from having ZC remain as they are. The real investigation should be directed at Manohar and Sawhney.
Can you imagine us in the T20 WC! Our team simply does not look capable of winning a single game.
One thing is as clear as day- we do not have the players or the personnel to turn this around. Everyone’s new look teams are not good enough to beat a County second XI
There are people here making up teams with players that have not succeeded at u19 level nor made any impact in our franchise system, which surely has to be the weakest and most poorly run out of all the member nations.
We keep hitting new lows in our cricket and stumble to the next crisis.

Can we also lock up the culprits responsible for destroying the game the last 15 years or so?

This is the best time or what could be the best situation for Zimbabwe to clean the game as the ban imposed by ICC.
All the culprits should be removed and non political persons should be under the administration of ZC
Mukuhalani, Makoni these two should be fired as early as possible, both are politically involved as a force and have interference in the game.

We can blame Mukuhalani, Makoni all we want but the SRC should hold some blame...They personalizedBlack Mamba wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 7:00 amThis is the best time or what could be the best situation for Zimbabwe to clean the game as the ban imposed by ICC.

The agenda. ..
Look SRC went to Fifa again and asked the Zifa board be dissolved and Fifa rejected.
Now they are in netball and rugby...
If SRC had gone to ICC and formally asked them to dissolve the ZC board and they had rejected then no suspension would have been imposed....

There is no point of holding on as per cricket is concerned.SRC should have done it much earlier, Huge Governmental Political force is dominating Zimbabwe Cricket in team selection & various appointments .ICC should again rethink to give back membership to Zimbabwe, as so far nothing has been changed or will change in futureMueddie28 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 5:57 amWe can blame Mukuhalani, Makoni all we want but the SRC should hold some blame...They personalizedBlack Mamba wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 7:00 amThis is the best time or what could be the best situation for Zimbabwe to clean the game as the ban imposed by ICC.
