Scorecards

Game 1 v Takashinga U23s

Game 2 v Old Hararians

Ervine & Raza amongst the runs, Raza & Cephas of all people leading wicket takers

Game 3 v Takashinga

These scorecards right here show why we can’t promote ‘new bloods’.

Only Craig and Raza in the 33 people listed from Zimbabwe played to close to required standard against Uganda.

The costs of hosting these matches would be much cheaper than hosting even a T20 international series

Maybe some reciprocity after Takashinga toured there?
Many of those guys are not Takashinga players so you know it’s not Takashinga paying for it. Its guaranteed to be ZC, but they’ve given Takashinga the money to host.
ZC supposedly don’t have any money from ICC yet so when Mukhulani was claiming he’d paid for something or other out of his own pocket we can now take that statement with a bag of salt
The rains will hopefully arrive in a week or so, just in time for the start of our FC, as I stated. Nothing will change here, if anything it’s about to get worse.
I saw on twitter that Masakanda has now headed off to Australia.
And the farm invasions continue, my friends in Chinhoyi have just been kicked off their place by drunken aggressive disgusting people, doing their master’s bidding for a case of beer and some $5 Russian vodka.
Then the real owner will move on and strip the house if window and door frames and roof sheets, try and get some Command Agriculture loan money from the comfort of his house in Harare with no intention of farming or paying back the loan and let the productive farm slowly return to virgin bush. This is a mind boggling place.
Our President was at Lake Chivero last week and got angry because no one had told him that the pipe taking water to the Morton Jaffray water works for purification was broken. This is the dam that’s supposed to supply the 4 million people that live in and around Harare.
This place is upside down I tell you.

To be fair, the Innocent One had a good game with the bat as well in match 3.

Oldknow is supposed to be a damn good batter. Left handed and solid from what I’ve heard from sources on the ground
