Round Four of the Logan Cup kicks off today with this round being the players’ last chance to lay claim for a Test spot. Expecting (hoping) that we see all available national team players this round.

In the Rhinos v Tuskers game its a big round for Tendai Chisoro, Carl Mumba & Prince Masaurve who have been leading the runs & wicket takers list, all three guys are on the verge of a recall to the Test Side. For PJ Moor interesting to see if he opens again, will he be named captain of the Test team? Will he even be in the team?

For the Tuskers Brian Chari needs a big game if he’s any chance whilst Ainsley Ndlovu is an outside chance. The big question regarding Raza is has he kissed enough back sides to get back into the side? Runs and wicket won’t hurt his case either, whilst both Ervine & Williams could do with some time in the middle.

In the other game the ACHPP will hopefully see KJ & BT back out in the middle, especially for BT who hasn’t appeared in any cricket this summer. I wouldn’t expect any other Rangers in the Test side although Mudzinganyama & Thsuma have done very well.

For the Goats the most interesting point will be if Chatara takes the field, we’ve had no updates about his injury & although it’s not necessary for him to have a bowl it would be nice to know he’s fit. Tiripano & Kasuza are also in the mix whilst Roy Kaia would be a long shot to play as the spinner, Wellington is no chance one would have thought.

Appears that there may only be one game today. BT showing his class with a half century before lunch.

Good to see BT playing & back in form, again showing the low standard of the competition that he can just walk in straight off his Christmas holiday & smash a ton

Hopefully Chatara will be fit for the Tests, does anyone have any info as to what his injury is?

No word why the other match was postponed ??

Mashinge again showing his worth with the bat. Do we pick him for first test as a bowling all rounder. Seems to Have knack of picking up wickets and also cjippounh incwiyh handy runs. However for sum of his parts neither best in country at either
