Who goes in as the spinner next match.

Mavuta had one bad game against UAE whete he coudnt land the dam thing but think we should persevere with the leg spinner. He does have a knack of picking up wickets and we have tiripano and Williams as containment bowlers
Personally I don't think any spinner we have will do damage to a sub-continent team on a flat track. With the current squad they have I would add Mumba for Ndlovu. If they change the squad up and really want a spinner I would play Burl or Mutombodzi at 8 to offer something different.

I actually think the Chinaman might be the first kid to get a crack at the national team as there is no real competition in that department. He will leak runs but I can assure you if he lands 1 good ball every over he will regularly pick up wickets.Madhevere and Shumba have quite a few people to get over.

Bloody horrible pitch. The only top order zimbabwe batsman who was bowled out by a good ball would have been kazuza with that difficult inswingung delivery. All the rest threw it away. Admittedly Taylor was unlucky with bad decision against him

Shumba has more control, better pace variations and can bat and has played a few FC games. Nyangani is the guy that can find the occasional unplayable delivery though, but you can’t have a guy taking up a spot that can have a really off day. All a bit strange when you’ve got Burl in the wings who threatens good things with bat and ball.

Playing Burl as a bowler representative is an interesting idea, but are his leggier really up to test level!?

Great if it is, but test matches aren’t Bangladeshi t20 leagues.

But having him come in at 7/8, the Don at 9 is mouth watering if on merit.

It is a shocking pitch. None of us would be watching this game if any side other than Zimbabwe were playing.

How did Nyauchi look today?
He looked really good TBH

After his 1st over I thought this guy is rubbish, but he bowled a really good line and length and was hard to get away as his numbers suggested, also had a real good shout against Mendis for lbw not given.

Not sure he's going to be a world beater, probably going to have a similar impact with the ball as Donald.

Burl does not have enough leggies to trouble a batsman at test level .

We need a specialist leggie Mavuta or Wellington or Chisoro

I thought he played really well considering that Jarvis our best bowler went wicketless.

I would say he bowled better than Heath streak on debut and looked like he could be as good as Makhaya Ntini
