Assuming Chakabva hangs around of course, if Jarvis can last 30 balls that gets us to about 10 overs to go. 4 down, 26 to go.
Or as The Dogg says, for every extra 10 runs we get you can take an over off that.

This is why Test cricket is great, there's a genuine chance we can survive this. Although it's probably 80/20 to SL.

The frustrating part about Chakabva in situations like this is, although he can bat long defensively, when with the tail, he makes no effort to farm the strike. That could mean that this could all end soon...

Farming the strike is definitely not a part of Regis' portfolio.

... cross-posting with Crimson ;) ;)

How many overs left? This is tighter than a shark’s arse in a power dive.

Case in point.
When Jarvis hit that ball down the ground down the ground to get off the mark, they could have hustled two. But Regis settles for one even though Kyle was ready.

Meant Regis faces the last ball and Kyle now exposed to a full over.
Dumb.

It was always going to be tough to ask Don to bat out a day.

Hopefully Kyle can last 100 balls and pick off the odd boundary.

How’s light?

I think SL are big favs. Not that tight yet.

Yes if they last another half.

And with that Jarvis out.

This is purely Regis’ fault!!!!’

See two posts up about not hustling the second.

Well not anymore. It would have been an interesting end if Sri Lanka needed 30 off two overs or something similar.

Ah, damn. Jarvis gone.
Chakabva has to farm the strike from this point on, surely someone is giving him that message.

But I don't see how they can survive at this point, 20 overs is too long. Weather report says 25% chance of rain...

So Jarvis is untouchable on this Forum?, everyone else gets to cope some slack, but you can’t touch Jarvis?

On a side note,I don’t think it’s personal, I usually like to opposite jinx him but each time I jinx him he gets out quick and easy😉
