Disaster, Zimbabwe still have a lot to play for, a win will be just brilliant but even a draw would mean a lot for Zimbabwe cricket.

Mutombodzi has now replaced jarvis. Bit of a strange one. Maybe they are trying to lengthen the batting order and also have variation in bowling with his leg spin. Dont be suprised to see him in side tomorrow

Jarvis injury might be a blessing in disguise for us,I personally would like to see him sit this out so he can get a bit hungry for some wickets.

This opens up the options in my view it should be a straight forward swap man for man

Mumba for Jarvis

Mutombodzi for Ansley Ndlovu

This will give us a longer batting attack, I am not really excited for Mutombodzi but I feel he is a better option than Maruma

A Zim bowling line up without Chatara and Jarvis? This is basically Zim A now.

You’ve said this before.
You make it sound like he wasn’t trying.

He was still probably our best bowler in the first test.
You can’t measure a bowler by an innings. It’s a long sample plus what you see from the naked eye.

I agree
What about this Charles Tshuma
What's his advantages...Sean the Captain was raving about him..
Chisoro for Ainsley Ndlovu would have been perfect

Let me explain my thought process

In most of all the games that we have won a test match Jarvis did not star and would be either out bowled by Vitori ,Chatara ,Shingi masakadza.

This is not to say he is not quality but he was a good performer when there is other Seamers.

He performed better in county wickets because he gets a lot of movement in those conditions,

My point again is Jarvis enjoys the competition and like to out bowl other team members, if i am to make myself clear he bowls better when he is fighting for a spot or when he feels his spot in the team is under threat.
It’s just a matter of mindset and I feel I have read him well.

How serious is his injury? Is he out of the Bangladesh tour as well?
