Guys like BT, Williams, Chigumbura etc would have benefitted so much from going into the national side of Streak, Flower, Blignaut, Price etc were still there.

Shumba & Wes will be walking into an experienced side which IMO puts them in better shape to make the step up than those other guys were

I rated Mahwire a lot, I think he was under used and could have been a really good asset. Hondo I agree Was bang average

It’s hard to fathom how Bawa and Schardendorf are batting behind Oldknow. One has had a hundred and the other nearly pulled off a big win against a top side.

Oldknow has one shot the swipe to leg.

I never saw it.

He was only a 125 trundled and not overly accurate.

I think Nyauchi is better.

I’m not going to die by it though as I only saw him a couple of times when he toured Oz. One of the times he was in the commentary box of all places on channel nine talking himself up as the next big talent from Zim. Was gold.

Yeah that’s my first memories of Blessing, I always had a soft spot for him because my mother loved his name 😂

I still remember how excited he got when he bowled Michael Clarke shouldering arms at the MCG

Could bat a bit but nothing special. Trevor Garwe is a better bowler. Think he is working as a coach for ZC at the moment in one of the age group sides.

Marumani has, as someone rightly said during the pre-WC tournament, some swagger about him--at least by Zim's standards; and he looked like a decent slogger. We could use a hitter in T20s and such, but his returns against the better sides seems to suggest that at this point he's a Cephas-like kind of bully. It will be interesting to see how he progresses.

Did someone say that Schardendorff can't hit? :6:
