Whats a Zimbabwean team without a team mascot Maruma has well and truly taken that mental. Our test team really looks light in all departments. Not having Williams is really a big loss to the team. Masvaure/Kasuza the opening pair will have to do a lot of work up front. And welcome back Mpofu brings a measure of experience to our attack but dont know how effective he will be on those subcontinent pitches. Chisoro misses out yet again.

I think there is more to this Chisoro story. If he violated his contract before and that is true then we will never see him again. I can't imagine any player for any country who is contracted refusing to go on a tour and then expecting to get picked again. Unfortunately in life there are consequences. I wish he could explain himself but from what I heard he was in the wrong.

Well its kinda difficult to ignore a player of his qualities. Its very sobering just to have a real honest look around and see that beyond these current players there is not much to choose from. We were kinda fortunate that Masvaure/Kasuza come into form just when their services were required. Kasuza really needs to push on considering he is much younger and has been playing FC cricket for a while now.

Raza Williams BT and Ervine. To a certain extent Chatara and Jarvis too. Cremer is another guy who could walk back into the team. These are the only guys who can challenge the people in charge. The rest will be "disciplined" .

What’s the saying ? Cut off your nose in spite of your face?

Something like that anyways

Zimbabwe are struggling big time for a spinner, with Cremer gone, Mavuta struggling & the rest are shit. Just pick Chisoro at least you know he’s good

The rise and fall of Brandon Mavuta, man, cricket is a tough gig. One minute you're in the MSL and next thing you're struggling at FC level.
Real shame.
