The rise and fall of Brandon Mavuta, man, cricket is a tough gig. One minute you're in the MSL and next thing you're struggling at FC level.
Real shame.
Cricket is rarely decided over a short term. Too many variables.
Always be suspicious if a potato gun bowler without a track history of batting success comes out and plays well.
Lucks playing its part. Navigation was picked after one good tournament of results that went his way with the right people watching.
For any zimbo to succeed internationally, at the very least they need to be tearing up the first class scene.

@Jabro. You cant compare Maruma and Moor because Marume played a single test in which he failed . Dont hate the guy give him a chance. As it stands he doesnt have statistics in tests
So what are we thinking for the XI for the Test? Obviously the warm up game will have a lot of baring on who gets picked. I can’t pick Ndlovu or Maruma but I’m pretty sure they’ll both get picked. I’d also drop Tiripano, he’s averaging 50 with the ball
This won’t be the XI but anyways
Prince
Kasuza
Ervine
BT
Regis
Raza
Mudzinganyama
Mutombodzi
Mumba
Mpofu
Nyauchi
Top four picks itself
Regis @5 gives him more time in the middle where he plays his best cricket.
Mudzinganyama is a risk, but not really that big a risk when the other option is Maruma. Can also bowl some spin to help out Raza, might see him play a good counter attacking innings.
Could go for either Mutombodzi or Tiripano @8 as neither will have much effect with the ball IMO, they’ll probably go for Tiripano so they can play Ndlovu
I’m picking Mumba & Mpofu because the bowlers who troubled Bangladesh the most in 2018 were KJ & TLC so hopefully there’s a little bit in the deck for these two guys. Nyauchi or Tiripano hard choice, obviously Don has better batting but Nyauchi deserves another match after his series v Sri Lanka
