If he has a few more good days like that he’ll get a shot. Only in Zimbabwe. I haven’t seen him for a while, perhaps he’s a late bloomer. I’m not being facetious (is that the right word?), he has the pedigree. What will be interesting is what will happen to Makoni Jr next season.
Not that we need proof that this is a family business, but we’ll see it once again.
Yeah if Campbell gets within reach of National selection he will be there. If he gets a Century next game for instance he will be fast tracked.

That said, I have noticed that in Zimbabwe the white batsmen seem to be the ones that continue and develop. What is it?
Moor was horrible in his first season or two and became decent.

Ervine was not that great and was a fringe player from 2010 up until 2014.

Raza also went to internationals like a duck to water.

Why have our talented black guys all gone backwards? Imagine if Vusi, Stuey and Hammy built on their early capabilities. They would have been stars.

Burl needs to get fit, quickly. He’s a really talented player and we’re crying out for top order batters. The fact that Tari hasn’t kicked on the way he should have done is really sad to see.
