ARE YOU THE NEXT FAST BOWLER PROGRAM

Post by zimlover »

How are about putting our resources together to contribute something for the love of the game?
Zimbabwe needs its citizens and cricket lovers from all across the globe to contribute to finding the Next Fast Bowler who can bowl the quickest.
This will be a similar initiative like what Streak did A Couple of years ago when he launched an initiative calling on all fast bowlers to come and bowl.

The competition will be held in Zimbabwe and will require some resources mainly a few competent Coaches and individuals.

This will be a one day event held at each province the criteria for taking part will be being able to bowl 5 overs at an average speed of 140.
Its only open to a certain age group 19 to 24, and they have never played professional cricket before, we dont want any old faces coming up.

New faces only and new names only no recycling.

The exclusion criteria can be refined also, but basically we dont want old names.

This can be held 4 Metropolitan areas across Zimbabwe, Mainly Harare for Mashonaland , Bulawayo for matebeleland, Gweru or kwekwe for Midlands, and Masvingo.

We can easily put our efforts to great use and contribute something, the best cricketing nations have a lot of sponsors ,the current state of Zimbabwe cricket and the nation at large has bigger issues to deal with and cricket is not on top of the list , this could be our way of positively impacting we all love cricket.and putting something into the game .
So guys if we put our extra coins together and Select a few guys on the ground to Run the campaign and Advertising, launch a go fund me page.

We can crown fund and Pay for one OR two Speed Guns and fund the campaign, I am sure this something we can afford.

The top three fast bowlers gets some Price Money and the exposure.

With final to be held in Harare and winner gets a prize money and exposure.

Its not a refined idea but its better than complaining about ZC all the time.

Lets help if we can, no need to mention that ZC is corrupt we know that already.

ZIFA recently gave the player of the tournament $1 for his efforts, let’s see ZC can match it.The problem will be getting the $1 out of them before Singo lifts it. Hopefully the ZIFA bosses get arrested for offering forex.

They could actually offer Makoni’s salary for a year and they still wouldn’t find anyone. Do these guys have to declare their salaries and get paid in Bond at RBZ rates? We already know the 12 bowlers that can exceed 120
It’s all a lost cause, they’ve broken everything beyond repair and they’re too greedy and stupid to realize it.

What they should do is put $100 note back of a length and see if a ZC administrator can avoid diving headlong for it.

We spoke about this before about ZCF crowd funding the development of a talented underprivileged player.

Would need Googly, garmagal & possibly John Ward to find the player though

Well for a start you need a speed gun and didn't Kyle Jarvis say the other day that there isn't one in the whole country, which is embarrassing for a full member nation.

I am happy to put money towards purchasing a speed gun.

Let’s get organised!

People donate money to fund the Zimbabwe senior soccer team all the time why can’t we put something towards cricket ?

You want to crowd fund cash to give to ZC, with their record of financial trust, to do a nationwide search to unearth ADULTS that are ready made test players.

So we are going to find young Tendai in a pub who’s bowling 140 bullets but decided not to play elite cricket for whatever reason.

Not sure you know how elite level sport works my dude.

Btw I’m going to take a stab in the dark here, there’s only about 50 people in the entire world who are capable of bowling 140 plus consistently.

And ya think we are going to find 5 more Rabadas on construction sites, in pubs, working the supermarket counter.
