Right, I see a few new names. Anyone knows who they are?

Ashley Mufandauya (Eagles)
Rodney Mupfudza (Eagles)
Greg Liebenburg (Rangers)

And guess what, military medium bowler Tanyaradzwa Munyaradzi is back, playing for Rhinos this rime. I thought I read somewhere that moved away from the game?

No Chamu, Wes, Kamunhukamwe or Williams that must mean they’re on the way to Bangladesh!!!!

Shumba playing so I guess he’s not going, likewise for Rhinos; Moor, Madziva & of course Chisoro

Hoping to see Macheka rip through the Rhinos this morning

I believe Rodney Mufudza was in the running for U19s side this WC but missed out, Liebenburg has played club cricket in Harare I think? Garmagal would know more.

Interesting Liebenburg has been picked from outside of the original squad, I guess David Bent & Sydney Murombo have left the squad?

Sydney Murombo was another random unheralded cricketer I hoped would rise through the ranks, sporting the name of my home city 😁

Boom 💥

Kuda Macheka strikes & so does Davis Murwendo, Moor & Tari at the crease, a couple of forgotten stars for Zimbabwe.

PJ is really struggling. I hate to see it. This tough period will build character. Maybe he should try playing some club cricket in the UK when the season is done. We need him

Yeah he’s in all sorts, never been a great domestic player to be fair.

Tari with a hundred. Great to see. This is against the Rangers so he should push for an even bigger score.

Really strange that Macheka hadn't been selected for the U19s, and here he is playing FC cricket and our next GFBH (Great Fast Bowling Hope). Any insights into his non-selection for the U19 WC -- apart from the usual incompetence of the selectors? I see he is from Kadoma where it's probably more difficult to get noticed (?).

Yep, let's hope he has turned the corner.
