Match Thread | Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 2nd ODI 2020 | Sylhet

Post by Kriterion_BD »

Starts in about 2 hours. Not sure how much of this I'll be able to follow...but certainly trying to catch at least the first 30-35 overs.

Zimbabwe need a miracle to turn this around, I’m not sure if the ‘gulf’ between the sides has ever been this big?

I still think best chance of winning is to bowl 1st & restrict them to a total that is getable then hope the batsman actually play with their brains

1. Chibhabha (c)
2. Kamunhukamwe
3. Ervine
4. Taylor
5. Madhevere
6. Williams
7. Raza
8. Mutumbami (wk)
9. Mutombodzi
10. Mumba
11. Mpofu

Chibhabha got hurt while fielding in the last game. That might be it. Either way, I'm happy to see Williams leading.

Ervine must have 1 really bad flu. At least this is closer to what I wanted to see but with Mpofu in for Tirpano

Mumba and Tshuma are getting some good bounce. Unsettle the batsmen, get the wicket. I just want to see one wicket minimum in the first ten overs.

Mumba hitting at 135 kph....he can increase his pace close to 140+ if works done on him. Tshuma also hitting at 130+, but that overrated 120 kph spinner Tiripano can destroy the pressure created by this two.
