I’m happy for him, I just wonder for the future
Liam Roche NZ
Re: Liam Roche NZ
There’s no future Rusty. We’re on life support waiting for ICC (Intensive Care of Cricket) to turn it off when they get sick of us squandering the millions they keep throwing at us, or we’re no longer of use to them, both of which are around the corner.
Our genius cricketers have backed the wrong horse and Mlotshwa sold cricket down the river coz he settled his differences with his mate Mukhulani around the corner, which was the sole purpose of the “investigation” anyway, and Coventry is too afraid to be embroiled in any controversy that may affect her chances at the IOC.

Re: Liam Roche NZ
Sounds good in theory but what has changed to make these overseas based players want to move to Zimbabwe for 4-5 months to play in a domestic competition that pays peanuts???
Enticing guys with central contracts; guaranteed money is the only way unless they can somehow get the Pro50 & Local t20 comp generating some income which is highly doubtful.
Anyone know much about that bowler in Gauteng they’re talking about?

I see no indication that he has progressed beyond club cricket in the meantime.

Welch, Trenowerth, Muyeye, Matigmu and Murray are the five boys I’d throw my weight behind

On a side note I think the forum sorely misses gargamel's local knowledge; he was the one who enlightened us to Daniel Jakiel as well
