Good to see some Namibia content. jaybro do you remember JB Burger spanking the poms around in the '03 World Cup with the blonde tips in his hair. If only they won that game.

Yeah I do indeed; they were quite the story at that WC, that match v ENgland would have really been the biggest upset of all time!!!

They also had an opening bowler called Rudie van Vuuren who took a 5for in that match, Van Vuuren had a big year in 2003 he also represented Namibia at the Rugby World Cup as their fly-half!!!

Just to top things off he was also a doctor I believe !!!

It really was a shame it took so long for them to get back to international ODI status, they've had some really good players in the past but always seemed to finish just short in the qualifying tournaments
