WK won't be factored in anymore because it would be based on dismissals, and I think eugene is the only one who has a WK with guaranteed 0 dismissals. Batting, bowling, and WK are being given equal weights, so eugene would be a significant disadvantage.

I thought I had posted how WK would be evaluated, but since I didn't I can't hold him accountable for disregarding the rules.

But draft 4 (World Test XI) will have evaluation of WK as part of the score.

Will you be playing both Kallis and Wesley as all-rounders? You can pick one of them or both of them (you can't pick neither because then you only have 4 bowlers). Whoever you pick, their stats will be counted.

I've got no problem with Dilshan as keeper because he was a regular keeper for several years. It's one of the situations that will inevitably crop up with a cut-off date. Chill and releax everyone.

@ Kriterion: Could you provide us with not only the team averages but also the batting/bowling figures for each side prior to the playoffs? I know that my batting is by far the weakest with Dravid and Chanderpaul (whose 2010 stats are decidedly worse than their career averages), but I'd like to see (clutching at straws ...) how my bowling unit stacks up against the others.

Factoring in wk is, in any way, a little unfair on the respective keepers because individual ability only counts for so much, the quality of the bowling attack and the number of chances they create are at least as important if not more so.

Just a suggestion. A one off match with randomization would only mean that a Kohli would get a duck or a Vusi would get a 100. Why not play everyone plays everyone else league where you put out two match results daily? Like the 9 team 1992 world cup... Or you could involve my best of the rest side also and play two groups of 5 teams each. In both cases top 4 teams progressing to the semis and then the finals. Those number of matches would at least do justice to the averages of players when you randomize.

As you put it elsewhere, there is no real cricket happening anywhere anytime soon anyway.

I forgot we can nominate a second allrounder! Can I nominate Dilshan as a bowling allrounder as well as a keeper? Morgan could put on the gloves while Dilshan bowls.
