best player
who do u think is our best and most important player , batter bowler or allrounder does not matter, who would be your first choice in the starting 11. I think ray price definately for a bowler .Masakadza, Taylor aand taibu for bats , for the allrounders i would have chigs and blignaut when fully fit but not at the moment. Over all i think i would pick taylor before anyone else then ray price because is sucha a amazing character and bowler and always gives his best . what are your views?
Re: best player
Sometimes the best player is not necessarily the most important. Personally i think Taibu is the best player, a terrific keeper and a good solid batsmen who in a stronger side would bat down the order. But Chigumbura is the most important, since none of the Zimbabwean batsmen bowl very often, and none of the specalist bowlers can bat, he gives the team much needed flexibilty and acts as an important link between the middle order and the (brittle) tail.
Re: best player
I think shingarai Masacadza could turn out to be a very good allrounder for Zimbabwe. He bowls at a fast pace and also can hang around with the bat. He has a first class century to his name after all

I'd go with Elton at the moment.
Re: best player
I think Chigumbura is our most vital player. He gives balance to the side and his pace bowling allows us to pick three specialist spinners. I don't remember many matches that Zimbabwe have won without Chigumbura playing well.

Re: best player
Taibu's probably the most talented player we've got, and when he decides to knuckle down he's really impressive. But as often as not he seems to come into bat with the sort of mindset that has him playing really inappropriate shots, and when that happens he gets himself out really cheaply. It's a habit that he needs to get out of.

If yuu were betting at a sports site who would be your pick for man of the match award on any given day? Elton Chigumbura, and I think there is your answer. Equally able to be top run getter and top wicket taker for any random innings, he is easily our most important player.

Re: best player
There is no argument here, Chiggs must have been the first name on the team sheets for the last couple of seasons, and it would continue to be so for some time to come.
