Re: ZIM OFFERS TO TOUR PAK
I like the idea of supporting fundraising efforts for the floods, but I'd be a lot happier if the series was played in Zimbabwe...
Re: ZIM OFFERS TO TOUR PAK
This is good news, but I don't think the real reason is to provide funds for the floods

A good move by Zimbabwean Cricket, but a risky one none the less

Re: ZIM OFFERS TO TOUR PAK
ICC politics we were discussing this, today, but the show must go on! Hope its before the SA tour so we get some cricket and having the boys face Asif and Amir, Now THATS a test I am reaqlly looking forward to seeing. Some real quality bowling right there! Though its a big risk going to Pak. ZC "buying" favour and support in the ICC...Mike wrote:This is good news, but I don't think the real reason is to provide funds for the floods![]()

I agree, I'd much prefer a series in UAE than Pakistan. Hopefully this initiative was run by the players first before ZC announced their intentions to tour Pakistan; I would be extremely disappointed if ZC had anything less than 100% support from the players and up-to-date security advice showing Pakistan as safe to tour.sloandog wrote:A good move by Zimbabwean Cricket, but a risky one none the less
The politics aside, this is a good time for Zimbabwe to play against Pakistan. Pakistan are unbelievably hot and cold at the moment; it wouldn't matter if we got thrashed in the first three ODI's because they way the Pakistan have been playing recently Zimbabwe could win the remaining two without breaking into a sweat - and a 3-2 series loss would be an acceptable outcome.

New Zealand have also offered to visit, apparently: http://www.cricinfo.com/pakistan/conten ... 73686.html
One other option has come from New Zealand who have offered to help by playing in a flood relief game, even if it means playing a game in Pakistan, though this is still in a very early stage.

well pakistan is unpredictable team .they really got lots of lots of talent.players in pakistan are those can play better than anyone in the world.i think zimbabwe may be thrashed in series.
