Well I know he's playing Club Cricket in South Africa because I have him as a "friend" on facebook. For who and how long for I don't know, a special talent that needed nurturing :(

Sorry but have to correct you there sloandog. I know Dan quite well and he has been in the UK for the last two years and is about to go into his third year at kent university. He has been playing top level club cricket in the UK in the London league.

He is unlikely to return as he has started up his own sports equipment company in the UK which he plans to expand.

He has never played club cricket in South Africa

My apologies
I'm sure the last I heard was that he was playing Cricket in South Africa. Sorry again for the poor information, thanks for clearing that up Zimfan1

No worries Sloandog. I think he is a nice player but not sure if he would ever play international cricket. Im quite excited about the return of Glen Querl as he is a very good one day bowler who can bat a bit

i disagree i believe with the likes of flower, streak and former players taking care of him he could be a hnady top 6 batsman . he looked solid and witha bright future. But good luck to him with his own company ... just hope he returns especially with the future looking bright . he could have the oppurtunity to bat at victoria falls new ground :D
