2nd Best Zimbabwean Cricketer of all Time

I would think most people (I emphasise the word "most") would agree that Andy Flower is Zimbabwe's greatest player of all time. But, assuming that to be the case, who would be the second best?

I guess the obvious candidates would be Houghton, Taibu, Traicos, Streak, Grant Flower, Goodwin maybe. Technically speaking, I suspect Graeme Hick would be right up there, but let's leave out those lads who've gone to ply their trade in foreign climes.

Personally, I was always a big fan of Neil Johnson. He always had a bit of fire and spark about him, though realistically Heath Streak is probably the 2nd most valuable player. What's your view?

However I've seen videos of Neil Johnson batting and I can't stop watching them. As a younger player I've learnt a lot from watching them, and the same can be said with his bowling. Does anybody know how quick he bowled ??

I would also say streak for me as much as I liked Neil Johnson, I think he didnt play long enough for Zim to get my all time nod.

heath streak 100 percent , he and andy flower both are equal in my view yes andy flower had more runs than a toilet bowl but streak lead our attack for years and also made plenty of runs , i love them both absoloute legends. special mentions to Olonga,Goodwin,Johnson and sir raymond price

Heath Streak would get my vote. Apart from Andy Flower, Heath Streak was the modt important player for Zimbabwe. Whenever he was absent the team suffered immensly losing both an opening bowler (and often our only worldclass bowler) and a solid middle order batsman.

Am leaning towards this the more I read the more I see how intergral streak was. and yes he is an absolute legend
