This is scheduled for Mutare (although the CricInfo match page shows Bulawayo). Some team news from this morning's Chronicle:
Tuskers will be without their captain Gavin Ewing who has been rested for this game after collapsing at the team’s training last week. All-rounder Andy Blignaut and Gregory Strydom will also not be considered for this match since they have not yet signed their contracts but Streak still has a strong team with players like Charles Coventry, Terrence Duffin, Keith Dabengwa and Keegan Meth.
Chris Mpofu and Tawanda Mpariwa are expected to lead the attack with John Nyumbu’s spin also coming in handy.
There will be no Tatenda Taibu or Stuart Matsikenyeri in the Mountaineers line-up today but the Manicland franchise is still strong with experienced players like Hamilton Masakadza and Prosper Utseya still in the fold.

..and the lack of updates for this one leads me to believe that CricInfo have indeed sent their scorer to the wrong city. If so: ::facepalm::

Quite a possibility...
Bliggie not signing the contract is a bit of a concern. He might still be undecided on committing himself to cricket completely all over again.

It's only a 580km drive between the two - he'll be in Mutare in no time.

The Chronicle are on the case. I note the match
is in Bulawayo, too, which means the 'official' ZC schedule (which still says the match is in Mutare) is wrong. Only took us to the first match of the season for that to happen.

AN 81-run partnership for the seventh wicket between Charles Coventry and Tawanda Mupariwa saw Matabeleland Tuskers end the day with a respectable score on day one of their first Logan Cup four-day cricket encounter against Mountaineers at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo yesterday.
Coventry who scored a century for his club Bulawayo Athletic Club in a Bulawayo Metropolitan Cricket Association First League match against Queens over the weekend carried on his form to score an unbeaten 91 runs off 155 balls, batted for 264 minutes, cracked nine fours and two sixes. Mupariwa batted for 124 minutes, faced up to 109 deliveries on his way to 19 runs as Tuskers, who won the toss and chose to bat ended the day on 237 runs for the loss of eight wickets from 96 overs in their first innings.
Tuskers did not have a great start, left hander Terrence Duffin falling for just nine runs when he left a delivery from Shingirai Masakadza that went on to bowl him out. Another left handed batsman Sean Williams contributed 30 runs before he gifted his wicket to former Zimbabwe fast bowler Tinashe Panyangara and Tuskers were two down going into the lunch break.
The arrival of Mountaineers coach, legendary former South African pace bowler Allan Donald who arrived in the country after the lunch break seemed to have inspired his charges.
Opener Bonaparte Mujuru fell after the lunch break, stand-in captain Keith Dabengwa was run out after hesitating to take a quick single called by Coventry and Bradley Staddon also went cheaply before Coventry and Mupariwa came to Tuskers’ rescue.
Mupariwa finally departed when he was adjudged leg before wicket to leg spinner Timycen Maruma. Christopher Mpofu fell without scoring when Maruma bowled him out with the ball delivery of the day.
Leg spinner Natsai Mushangwe was the pick of the Mountaineers bowlers with three wickets for 53 runs from 19 overs, six of which were maidens. Maruma took two wickets with Shingirai Masakadza and Panyangara claiming one wicket apiece.
The match enters its second day this morning with Coventry setting his sights on a century.
Mountaineers, who lost the experienced pair of Tatenda Taibu and Stuart Matsikenyeri to Southern Rocks, fielded Mark Vermeulen, a player that was discarded by Tuskers.
