How Faraz Akram has made this ODI side is completely beyond me, when lads like Musakanda are sitting at home. At best, and I mean at best! he’s a decent FC bowler. Mid 70’s at a push. Not a good selection

Tari is still being taught his ‘lesson’

Faraz is being picked because he’s doing everything right according to ZC, he’s not an international quality player. I’d rather Jongwe be sent, but they are wise in being cautious with his reintegration into the national setup, he seems like a guy who gets ahead of himself. Making Jongwe work harder for his recall will only do him well in the long run.

Good news also is that it seems BT is keeping again, this relieves the pressure to play Mutumbami and opens another batting spot for possibly Madhevere or Burl.

Not picking a Jongwe or a Madziva or a Musakanda is hardly a reason to pick Akram. I fail to understand what exactly he has done to get picked. This is a scam. He might have potential no doubt, but there has been no standout performance from him at any level!!!

I continue to think that he is there as a specialist sledging translator in Pakistan or might have bribed someone at very high levels in ZC.

Is fan favorite Chisoro in the squad?

Tari should have been picked over Chamu. How does that guy get the captaincy.

Shoaib Malik is 38, he really has been around for ever. Interesting that some of these Pakistani guys really stick around a long time.

What else are they going to do? Being devote Muslims they're not going to go down the Shane Warne route of being a pro gambler/ distilling alcohol/ open a night club/ brand endorser for anything whilst also attempting to sleep with any c-grade celebrity possible.

Sounds like a good life to be fair
