Shoaib Malik is 38, he really has been around for ever. Interesting that some of these Pakistani guys really stick around a long time.
What else are they going to do? Being devote Muslims they're not going to go down the Shane Warne route of being a pro gambler/ distilling alcohol/ open a night club/ brand endorser for anything whilst also attempting to sleep with any c-grade celebrity possible.

Sounds like a good life to be fair
Yeah, not like there are any other career options apart from the ones mentioned.

I think when it comes to retired cricketers, Zimbabweans have shown the most diverse list of post-retirement career options than any other nation probably.

We have seen pilots, ramp models, bodybuilders, monks, faith healers, game ranch owners, referees, coaches, money swindlers, and what not...

Who's the faith healer?

Don't remember the exact name, but there was a domestic player who went that route for a while...

But may be Taibu can qualify too, during his church years... :)

Why isn't Roy kaia near the odi team? His first class bowling stats for one days are respectable. Has anyone seen him bowl live?

Excited to watch this series. ZIM are actually the only team after BD that I never miss any of their games. Go figure.

He went on the 2015 tour where he made his ODI debut in the washed out half 3rd game. He never got a bat nor did he bowl a single ball. Hammy used himself and Chamu as options in the bowling instead.

What's the point of picking a spinner if the dibble dobblers bowl before them. Looks like he was hard done by there.

Local 'eyes' have said his bowling action is very suspect, and would likely get called.

His batting has been inconsistent throughout his career as his average suggests, I'd say if he could have performed better with the bat he would have gotten a chance. Tinotenda Mutombodzi has probably taken the chances Kaia may have deserved.
