after that disasterous series against the south africans we now are looking at the in form bangladesh , coming off there thrashing of new zealand. i feel a few changes need to be made especially the bowling side of things and we need to experiment with the squad and make a few hard calls. so what would ur touring squad be to bangladesh ? who would u bring in and who would u drop?
out:mpofu,dabengwa
In:Paynagara,price
i would pick keegan meth anyday but seems he wont be in the selectors plans for the meanwhile.
this is the squad
1.E.Chigumbura (c) ALL
2.H.masakadza
3.G.Flower ALL
4.S.Williams
5.I.Nicolson
6.B.Taylor
7.P.Utesya
8.S.Masakadza ALL
9.G.Cremer
10.R.Price
11.C.Ervine
12.C.Chibabha
13.E.Rainsford
14.T.Pyanagara
15.T.Taibu (wk)(vc)
I think we should persist with s.masakadza as he seems to be able to take wickets and of we can work on bolwing consistent lines he could be a damaging new ball threat. nilcolsons pace impressed me as well just a matter of experience at the highest level and keeping his cool. the battng side of things i am not to fussed the top 7 looks really good and with price back in makes the team play better with his aggresion and determination to beat the best. i hope chigumbura can hit form again because he is not making runs and going for more runs than he is making. i do not believe he should be captain but hopefully he can prove me wrong. all the best zimbabwe

Looks a good squad i would have a few changes heres mine
1.Taylor
2.Mawoyo
3.H. Masakadza
4.Taibu
5.Flower
6.Ervine
7.Chigumbura
8.Utseya
9 S.Masakadza
10.Cremer
11Price
12. williams
13.coventry
14.lamb/Dabengwa
15.panyangara
Have left out mpofu nicolson and chibhabha mpofu was poor in SA so have replaced him with panyangara nicolson looks good but gone for the extra spiner for the bangladesh conditions and went for coventry over chibhabha i think chib should only be in the T20 team also gone for mawoyo deserves a go after his good form against Nz and i think number 3 could be good for masakadza.

I really like the look of your squad Andybligz.
I'd make a change or two however.
My squad would be:
1. Elton Chigumbura (Skipper)
2. Brendan Taylor
3. Tatenda Taibu (Keeper)
4. Hamilton Mazakadza
5. Craig Ervine
6. Sean Williams
7. Grant Flower
8. Charles Coventry
9. Stephen Marrilliar
10. Ray Price
11. Graeme Cremer
12. Prosper Utsa
13. Shingrai Mazakadza
14. Greg Lamb
15. Tinasche Panyangrara
I think Ian Nicholson needs to go and play more first class cricket before he's thrown into the deep end. He's got some serious pace and will be a very good product forus in teh near future....but not yet
No Mpofu, Rainsford, Chibahba or Dabengwa. I don't think they performed well enough to be selected, i'm going to be honest. Chibahba in slightly unlucky, but he got out to some terrible shots.
Lamb, Price, Marrillair, Coventry and Panyangara in. I reckon Panyangara could share the new ball with Mazakadza, and then play three spinners in Price, Cremer and Utsea. Lamb would be on standby should anything go wrong.
Marrilliar deserves a shot. I think he's shown his class in the first class games he's played, so I'd like to see him in the squad. I wouldn't expect to see him play but i'd love to see him in the squad.
Coventry could be dangerous towards the end, and with Chigg out of form he could be the power hitter than we're looking for

i dont think coventry should be in our team yet he still hasnt got his consistency together and i doubt hhe will anytime soon. i also dnt believe mawayo should be in team ,yes tthe squad but clearly masakadza and taylor have proved to be the right combination. also marillier is one of my favourites looks the good and can open something we have been missing, but as much as i rate him i do not believe he is odi player. he would definatley be in my test squad for the first test but not a odi squad. we need lamb especially for the sub continent conditions, i admit i am not a fan of his cricket but its obvious we miss his cool head and handy offspin. he is a consistent player and if he does not bat for 15 overs and put on 50 with sumone he bowls his 10 overs for hardly any runs and takes a wicket or two. he proved it against the good teams as well. the new ball is going to the be the problem, s.masakadza with nicolson? s.masakadza with price? price pynanagra ? or do we go for all out spin? who knows these days but i feel it should be s.masakadza with pyangara then bring on utesya and price and chuck in flower and chigumbura and maybe even hammy masakadza and surely that will complete our 50 overs for not to many runs. im so confident in the batting now but seriosuly panicing about the pace attack.WHAT CAN WE DO?

The pace attack should be like this:
Shingrai Mazakadza (new ball)
Tinasche Panyangara (new ball)
Ray Price
Prosper Utsea
Graeme Cremer
Greg Lamb
Two pacers upfront, and four quality spin bowlers to control the innings.

Panyangara is quietly getting himself in the team... I hope he regains his form and shares the new ball with Shingi. I think in India we must open with our spinners All of them...
