Another failure for Chibhabha. A few more donuts in this series and they'll probably have no choice but to drop him... or to save face, do you reckon he gets one more series? The sooner Williams is the captain across all formats the better IMO.

its the dean at stumps podcast, you can listen to it on spotify and a bunch of other ones if you dont have it, a proper good podcast if you haven't listened to it. Was just bizarre what a tirade he went on going off about how he was more deserving of a player than Heath Streak.

Sour grapes mate.
Standard Zimbabwe though, a white man has something and the black man doesn’t and it’s a race issue. That’s not all of Zimbabwe of course, it’s a small percentage but still a reality

Chari may still be useful in some formats and situations, Chibhabha is a complete dead weight.

I can’t find a place for either of them in any format if I’m honest. I was always a Chibhabha fan but the guy hasn’t scored a run in for ever!!!

Chari for me is too loose to be an opener and I’m not sure he’ll be any more consistent in the middle order. For Tests Kevin Kasuza has a much better technique from what I’ve seen.

To be honest if Hammy couldn't see this is how it would play out, he has the IQ of a duck.

Everyone here knew how this would go, even Mueddie and Stoneman,
Just prior to his recall, he had not even played competitive cricket in a long time and everyone assumed he had drifted off into quasi retirement the way Vusi sort of did.

You can't just return from a year out of the game to open the batting in international cricket AND captain. His rhythm is stunted. I'd say growth but at 34 there no real growth.

What's more, he's never scored a century in 100 innings and even at his best.

There's no way in hell that around age 35 after being out of the game he was going to come back and set the world alight.

What the FUCK were you thinking Hammy?

If my suspicions are correct and you really are hellbent on this black empowerment business, there's other ways to do this as Wes has shown.
No point persisting with all black losers/ has beens that won't retire unless kicking and screaming, when you could just promote Shumba and Muyeye and these kids who might actually be decent one day.
Atm you're just embarrassing yourself. No wonder I see comments from black Zimbabweans 'blacks can't play cricket' all over Facebook.
Your having the opposite efffect to your ideology by rewarding failure.
Although I suspect the answer far simpler. Hamilton just wants to look after his friends.
