Lets talk about the perfomances of our skipper since he took over as captain both with the bat and ball .

The burning question right now is not Chigumbura's form rather Hamilton's surprised axing for the third time. No point in discussing Elton when no body else is safe. With this rate, you might see Price being dropped one day.

I say give him a "rest" for a couple games. Bring Butterworth in i mean he can't do any worse. Hammie i don't understand him not being in but they must have a reason.

If you think way back to the 2003 Cricket World Cup, the south african captian was Shaun Pollock. Now, Pollock was a fantastic bowler, and a very good batter, but during his time as capatin his form decreased and he almost got dropped at the end of the 2003 season.
My point is that having an Allrounder as captin is too much of a burden for himself and the team.
Why Mazakadza is not in is beyong my comprehension. He's been one of our main batters for the past 2 years and he's gained a superb opening partnership with Brendan Taylor at the top of the innings.

Chigumbura is bringing nothing to the team at the moment. He is no longer bowling and his batting is woeful. Add to this that he is no tactical mastermind with field placements.

Elton Chigumbura needs a rest. Zimbabwe should try with Butterworth.

And the axing of Hamilton Masakadza is also out of my understand. He really does own a good opening partnership with Taylor.
