Kamunhukamwe with a century. Kasuza with a failure. Interesting times ahead. It won’t be an easy squad to pick . We have multiple options for test matches. I also feel it’s an opportunity for a couple of players to cement their places in the team. Make or break for the likes of Tari and Kamunhukamwe

Mudzinganyama with a 40 odd score. Interestingly Shumba and Mudzinganyama have very similar stats. Both average over 40 after about 7 games . Both have picked up about 7 wickets. The one major advantage that Mudzinganyama has is that he opens the batting and that’s where the gap is.

Looks like the Afghan tour will probably called off, Pakistan tour in doubt as well. Might as well give up and do something else.

Just need to fly a different carrier. Ethiopian, Kenya, or Qatar from Johannesburg perhaps.

I doubt this will be called off. They’re are still many flights out there. Also the Emirates ban is only for 2 weeks. Qatar and Ethiopian are flying . There are still many options

Madhevere 67 not out, 4 wickets and 2 catches. He is definitely playing. Burl bowled 25 overs and got 2 wickets including Kamunhukamwe. I hope they play one more game before they leave. Burl at 8 could be a decent option.

Burl at 8, Jesus. This lad scored four half centuries on tbe trott against Australia Under 19's.
Crazy that he's now been demoted to a bowling all-rounder

What are these other carriers like? I doubt I’d want to fly air Ethiopia or Kenya?

I’m a very nervous flyer though

Zimfan,

Do you mind elaborating? I know you are so spot on on your info but why can't they fly to Lusaka/Jo'burg and then got the UAE. This isn't insurmountable surely? I mean there aren't direct flights from Ireland to the UAE...

They are obviously not as good as Emirates or Qatar (but even BA or QANTAS can't hold candles to them). But Ethiopian Airlines and Kenya Airways are from what I can tell the best African carriers up there with South African and perhaps Egypt Air.
