Where did you hear this?

Clearly this would be a big loss. You can't judge a player based on one very brief T20 tournament! T20 by it's nature will provoke very erratic results and performances. Sean Ervine has a first class pedigree unmatched amongst current Zim players, he would have been a superb adition to the side, without doubt...
